Please join us for an evening of conversation with writer Andrea di Robilant, AUR's Writer-in-Residence,听who will discuss his current project that explores the many layers of the Venetian Lagoon.

Andrea鈥檚 work- in-progress delves into the lagoon鈥檚 past, speculates on its future, and documents how the many people and animals living on the lagoon are adapting the constant changes to their habitat.

About Andrea Di Robilant

Andrea di Robilant听studied History and International Affairs at Columbia University before beginning a distinguished career as a foreign correspondent for La Stampa听and La Repubblica. His books - "A Venetian Affair," "Lucia," "Irresistible North," "Chasing the Rose," "Autumn in Venice: Ernest Hemingway and his Last Muse," and "This Earthly Globe: A Venetian Geographer and the Quest to Map the World" - have earned international acclaim for their blend of meticulous research and narrative elegance. He currently teaches creative non-fiction at 91直播 of Rome and is the university's inaugural Writer-in-Residence.
