Giacomo Mazzeistudied at SapienzaUniversitàdi Rome (BA-LaureainLettere, PHD in Contemporary History), the College of William and Mary (MA in US History), and the University of Maryland, College Park (PhD in US History, all but dissertation).Therecipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for Graduate Studies,Giacomospecializes in 20th-century transatlantic relations,has written on US-Italian political and cultural relations during the Cold War, US political history, and the US constitutional framework as a model for European integration, andis currently working on a book on US cultural diplomacy and the 1964 Venice Biennale of Arts.Aside from teaching, heworks as a scientific consultant for the Fondazione Ugo La Malfa and is the executive editor of theAnnalidellaFondazione Ugo La Malfa.
